Here’s a quick question: What about a person that wants to become Amish. I know it would not be easy and am not completely convinced it is something I want to do, but are Amish people fairly accepting of people who want to join their church at an older age (24)? The Amish do not go out and recruit or try to get people to join their church/community.  However, if someone is truly sincere and wants to live that lifestyle, abide by their rules, and become a member of the church they are most welcome of that.
